Caucus of Corruption: The Truth about the New Democratic Majority ORDER NOW!!! On Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or The Conservative Book Club
|
All this talk from Democrats about how the troops have to be 100% ready before deployed - it brings to mind the fact that if such a rule had been in place when I was in the Navy, we would have always left port 12 hours late as we would have to wait for the guys who had last liberty to sober up.
People have gone over to Amazon and Barnes & Noble to write nasty "reviews" about Caucus of Corruption - a book they clearly have not read. Some of them claim to be former commenters at Blogs for Bush who were banned. As a rule, we only ban over there when people consistently go off topic and/or consistently use foul and/or insulting language. What this means is that people who don't like us are taking time out of their lives just to say something nasty. I don't know about anyone else, but I've better things to do with my precious time than spend it hurling pointless insults at people I don't like.
In the book Matt and I detail how Nancy Pelosi bought her way (literally) into the leadership position which set her up to be Speaker today - given her miserable performance in office, I wonder if any of those Democrats who's vote she bought wish they could give the money back?
Something is telling me that Thompson will get in and he'll sweep the boards and be elected President next year...meanwhile, my consistent assertion of a Gore run in 2008 is starting to fade a bit. I also expect us to take back the House, or come so close as makes no matter...but in the Senate, I think we'll have to wait until the 2010 and 2012 cycles before we get a real shot at a majority again.
Governor Gibbons is turning out to be a large disappointment...more and more, it seems we should have nominated Beers. Imagine a conservative Republican having to ask the AG if vetoing a tax increase (the repeal of the 2005 tax abatement) is a good idea! May the spirit of Ronaldus Magnus come upon Gibbons.
