Nevada Deserves Better Than Harry Reid

As I note over at Blogs for Bush, Harry Reid came out and said that he wished O'Connor was still on the Surpreme Court in order to strike down the ban on partial birth abortions which Harry Reid voted in favor of. This is the sort of political two-timing we see from Reid all too often - speaking the conservative game at home, but playing the liberal tune in DC. I and my co-Author Matt Margolis detail even more of this sort of things in our soon-to-be-released book, Caucus of Corruption.

It is a grand thing for a small State like Nevada to have ranking politicians in DC - in the continual tussle of Congress, the needs of a small State are easily overlooked unless that State has an influential advocate - Reid, as Senate Majority Leader, could do much good for our State but, instead, has opted to eschew Nevada values in favor of the leftwing special interests who run the national Democratic Party. We made a terrible mistake back in 2004 when we didn't find the right Republican to beat Reid - and we must repair this mistake in 2010. We must, in that year, find a man or woman who will represent Nevada and not be a mere adjunct to Speaker Pelosi's San Francisco values.
