Expose The Hypocrisy

October 27, 2006
They Just Don't Quit, Do They?

The Democrats have spent 2006 attempting to win via scorched earth - unable to campaign on their ideas, all long ago rejected by the American people, the Democrats have chosen to use smear tactics to carry them over the finish line. They aren't trying to get people to like Democrats, but to hate Republicans even more - the latest entry is the 11th hour accusations levelled by a Chrissy Mazzeo, who claims that Congressman Jim Gibbons, Republican candidate for Governor of Nevada, attempted to sexually assault her.

As of this moment in time, Mazzeo has come forward into the media, but she has not signed a criminal complaint against Gibbons - so, we get the effect of a criminal investigation without there being an official accusation of same. Mazzeo says she declined to sign a criminal complaint because she wanted to avoid a media circus - somehow, to me it seems going on television to level accusations is a strange way to avoid a media circus. There is a very good reason why Mazzeo is reticent about signing a criminal complaint - from conclusion of the police report:

The investigation into this incident ceased when Mazzeo signed a Request for No Prosecution form. Until that time, Violent Crimes detectives were not able to substantiate Mazzeo's allegation of Battery. Detectives were unable to locate any independent witnesses to a physical confrontation between Gibbons and Mazzeo. There is no video surveillance of the incident. Mazzeo gave no indication as to how she received the scratches on her shoulder and back. From the time Mazzeo made the initial call to dispatch under Event 061013-3534 until she was contacted by police under Event 061013-3774, it is unknown where she was or what happened to her. No evidence exists to prove the scratches Mazzeo had were caused during the alleged incident. Mazzeo admitted to Detective Colon she had been drinking prior to the incident. This is confirmed by Julie Vick, the food server for that evening and Gibbons. During Mazzeo's conversations with dispatch she sounds to be intoxicated. Gibbons admits he grabbed Mazzeo in the parking lot only after she tripped and almost fell. (emphasis added)

A drunk lady makes an unsubstantiated accusation against a Republican and, of course, there is a leftist who will take the side of the boozed up accuser, as long as it works against the Republican. It should be kept in mind that Mazzeo's accusations include the alleged assault, but also a promise of hush money and a threat of death to her and her family if she didn't agree to keep quiet. That is quite a lot - someone threatens me and my family with death, I'm on the phone to the police and signing as many criminal complaints as I can...but Mazzeo didn't, and hasn't, and won't decide right away if she will...though I'll bet dollars to donuts that we get a decision on that by November 8th.

They just can't win without lying, cheating, or stealing, these corrupt DemocRATs. It's a shame that this election is even close.

I have a feeling the donks are in for a long night on Nov. 7th, and that Nov. 8th won't be a good day at all for the left...

Keef,

Titus, of course, is saying she has nothing to do with it - but it seems that one of Mazzeo's lawyers is connected to the Titus campaign...we have a long history of this sort of thing happening late in campaign season in Nevada...false mud thrown late enough in the election cycle to have an affect, but too late to be refuted.
